The tool is designed to limit the flow of gas or other substances in a working PE pipe with a diameter of 63 mm to 180 mm with SDR 11 limit compression plates.

The pipe is compressed by a hydraulic device and later, this unit can be locked in position using control screws, thus preventing accidental loss of compression pressure.
